Very good little piece on the Gangnam Style phenomenon.

Long, and therefore much more thorough than most news on kpop and Gangnam Style that’s been flying around lately.

I appreciate that they brought a variety of voices, both experts who have maybe heard kpop once or twice and Eat Your Kimchi vloggers Simon and Martina who are themselves big fans of kpop. And I appreciate that they actually dove into some of the problems in Korean society that Psy targets in his video rather than just saying “it’s social commentary of Gangnam” and moving on.
